HHI is excited to announce the launch of “Hip Hop International Presents…,” a brand new choreographer inspired performance series kicking off this year at the World Hip Hop Dance Championship.
On Saturday, Aug 9 at 10pm at Red Rock Resort, Hip Hop International Presents “Skulls & Crowns, A Royal Invasion” a full hour of all new dances created by Parris Goebel, the creative force behind five-time World Hip Hop Dance Champions ReQuest and the Royal Family. The multi-media production will feature dancers from New Zealand’s Royal Family, Australia, South Africa, Ireland, Hawaii and South America.
Parris, the innovator of Polyswagg, has been traveling the world creating dance for the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Cirque du Soleil and many others. “While Skulls & Crowns, A Royal Invasion” will give the audience the opportunity to watch Polyswagg up close and personal, they will be taken on a dance journey with sets that capture all styles and resonate with all dancers,” said Parris. “My hope is people will come to free their minds and take a journey through dance. They will enjoy all the emotions of watching hip hop performed by dancers who leave their hearts and souls on the dance floor.”
“Hip Hop International has proven to be a launching pad for so many professional careers in dance,” said HHI President Howard Schwartz. “With Hip Hop International Presents, we look forward to providing a long form showcase of their talents and paying homage to their creativity.”
The world premiere of “Skulls & Crowns, A Royal Invasion” is expected to sell out. Tickets priced at $20 each are now on sale.
