Over three thousand of the world’s best dancers will come together for the World Hip Hop Dance Championship, an event true to the real values of hip hop culture. Crews from 55+ countries will compete to capture the world title and international bragging rights while hip hop icons, artists and celebrities make appearances and perform.
Above all, dancers meet others from around the world equally passionate about hip hop culture and dance.

- A crew consists of a minimum 5 to a maximum of 9 members in three age divisions - Junior (up to 12 years old), Varsity (13-17) and Adult (18+).
- A MiniCrew consists of a minimum 3 to a maximum of 4 members - all ages.
- A JV MegaCrew consists of a minimum 10 to a maximum of 40 members - up to 17 years old.
- A MegaCrew consists of a minimum 10 to a maximum of 40 members - all ages.
- A crew member whose age falls between two age divisions in the competition year (ending December 31) may compete in either division within that year. Example: A 12-year-old turning 13 by 12/31/2026 may compete in the Junior or Varsity division. Likewise an 17-year-old turning 18 within the competition year (by 12/31/2026) can compete as a Varsity or Adult.
- Each participant’s proof of age (indicating date of birth) will be verified by HHI.

HOW TO ENTER
National qualifications within each HHI affiliate country (see WORLD AFFILIATES) are conducted annually to determine who participates in the World Hip Hop Dance Championship and World Battles.
Dance Crews, MiniCrews, JV MegaCrews, MegaCrews, and All Stylers from countries with no qualifying event may contact Hip Hop International to request a special invitation to participate.

The World Hip Hop Dance Championship will be conducted under the official rules and regulations of Hip Hop International – see RULES & REGULATIONS.
2025 JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONS: MONSOON! - JAPAN
A celebrated highlight of Hip Hop International’s events is World Moves, a series of original dance workshops with some of the world’s most recognized and influential presenters and choreographers.
Presenters will be announced May 15.
